Dear Pond and Patio, How about the size, depth, appropriate age, plants and fish for a kids pond. Do I need filters? How much work will it be for me as I don't think the kids will be able to care for it. Thanks for your help.

Hi, Did you check out the NAWGS website, it has all of the information there. As for size that is up to the school, it does use filters and the maintenance is low. Welcome to the board, Nancy

Hi, As Nancy said there is information on NAWGS website and here: http://www.hppondandpatio.com/pfk.html
We can also install pondless waterfalls. We can work with any age group and would adjust the amount of work we have them do accordingly. Having the kids maintain the system is an important part of the program. It can be arranged that a science class (biology) maintains the system during a class and/or maintenance contracts are available from HP Pond and Patio while classes are out for summer. I can send you information or meet with you regarding the available options. We will also be at the Garden Expo this weekend!
